WHAT IS YOUR BILLING POLICY AND PAYMENT METHODS?

We direct bill to many insurance companies.

However we ask you to come prepared to pay for your exam should there be any delays for further processing by the insurance company. We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and debit. We do not accept personal cheques.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE APPOINTMENT?

To each appointment, please bring the following (if applicable):

Manitoba health card
Insurance benefit card
Current pair of prescription glasses
List of any current medications
Family doctor’s contact information
Sunglasses for dilation (driver recommended)

HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT TO BE IN THE CLINIC?

Appointment types can vary based on certain eye conditions. For a typical exam, you can expect to be in the clinic for approximately 30 minutes. Further testing may be required and can result in a longer visit. If necessary, we may book a separate appointment for these tests.

DO YOU COMPLETE FORMS?

Yes. We are able to complete police/RCMP/fire paramedic application forms, MPI forms and work-related vision tests. Some of these forms require additional testing and may result in a longer visit. Additional charges may apply. Insurance plans do not cover any fees associated with application forms. Please contact the clinic with any specific questions regarding your form and fees.
